So recently I've order a couple new clutches because each one of them hadn't been gripping the rear wheels and I had to full throttle to get the go kart to move an inch. Yesterday I order a max torque clutch and it still won't get the engine to move. I have really heavy back tires and my gear ratio isn't perfect but I still should be able to move a little. My gear ratio is 12 to 60 and my tires are 16 inches,my engine and seat is far back on the kart. My engine has plenty of power, predator 212 with a couple mods
There's a lot of back weight I and I know that the clutch might not be able to pull it but I would like any tips on fixing it without having to make any major changes, thx!!

congrats..
your gear ratio is WAAAY off!

clutches and 5:1 will not work with wheels that size. PERIOD!

You can of course buy another dozen clutches and try.. but without a 80T axle sprocket you'll not be going to have much success..
frankly 90 would be even better...

I know, I know.. speed.. heard that one before... NO!
predators and clutches no more than 31mph or you'll burn it (even WITH enough power)
it's about engagement speed!

Sorry, but either get a much bigger axle sprocket, or a slightly bigger sprocket and a torque converter
(that should get away with say 72 Teeth maybe even 66T)
