What's up guys, I recently just installed my clutch and chain, after running the engine to see if everything was okay. As it was running after a couple seconds the motor would jerk as if the chain was getting stuck I killed the engine immediately and decided to make a thread. Any recommendations on how to solve that. What I think is the clutch and chain aren't lined up so that's what's causing that. But I could be wrong so I'm open to solutions. Thank you guys. Help!!!!!

Use a straight edge to make sure the Sprockets are lined up.
You can also put the kart on Jacks and turn the tire slowly and watch the chain tension to see if anything is bent.
Sometimes when bolting a sprocket to a hub it gets bolted off center.
