Go Kart axle

I am thinking of putting a big engine on a go kart. The engine is going to be a Honda CB450SC I ended up changing my mind. It makes around 43 horsepower. Would a 1 inch thick axle from go power sports work.

There are so many other factors in this, it’s not that simple. It depends on what kind of frame you have, what kind of engine specifically, what kind of axle you will use, axle length, tire size, and other things. There are 650cc engines that make 20 horsepower and ones that make 100.
