Go-bowen, mega moto, mototec, ect. 79cc/ 98cc/ 48v kart parts?

Anyone have a solid source for kart parts? Many of the top google search names are sold out of left spindles for the very common 48v kart branded by everyone.

anyone have luck with generic spindles? Have a set inbound but looking for a sure shot if these don’t work.

It’s not electric specific, since they put a variety of gas engines on them also.

(Nearly) anything can be made to work if you have the means to cut (cut-off wheel/sawzall) and glue (welder) it back together. That’s a cop-out phrase for many that don’t have the time or inclination. I know.

Steering tab on Spindle is bent. I plan on bending it back in place. But would like an alternative replacement to welding. My boys are growing quick and I’ll soon just move them into larger karts. Was just trying to buy myself some time and effort.

rather than spending a hour + welding on the kart, would like to just swap the part in 10 minutes.

Not trying to be snyde, honestly. But I'll bet you've already spent more time trying to find a new one then it would take to repair your bent one. Looks very fixable.

I’ve bent it back twice already, I’m just trying to find another for safe measures when bending is not an option. Trying to teach the 4yr old to keep a safe distance from rocks, and trying to get my 6yr old not to pit maneuver the 4yr old.

having two kids thinking the backyard is Daytona 500 only allows for the karts to be down for charging.

That’s hilarious, to read. They really look stoked behind the wheel. Glad you got them started early, driving complex machinery; gas/brake/coast/accelerate/steer/anticipate/plan…

You know what you have to do when you find the parts—buy at least two pair for each kart. Spindles seem to be a wear item, just like tires but they’re just not nearly as obtainable.

Can you give us the dimensions, length of steering arm, length of axle, diameter of the axle? Suspect that it’s metric.

I have one spare of each (both previously bent/ found local on market place want add) , and a second set that might work inbound.

these karts are already modified. Original motor, aftermarket controller and lithium e-bike batteries on both.

I’ll get some measurements .

You might reinforce the spindles with some gussets or extra material welded on.
I looked for parts, needless to say, the search was excruciating

I agree with Hellion. See if you can strengthen the one you have. As you mentioned, you're kids are getting bigger so will be harder on the karts - a new one of the same will likely bend like it's predecessors.

I would be worried about the stress of bending it back and forth... Gonna snap and lose the ability to steer.

Id bend that back to where it needs to go and weld a gusset on it. Fast and easy fix.
