Global warming makes me want to go burn my used tires.

I agree that depression and anxiety are very real conditions. I've had some very bad episodes because of it. What works for me is keeping my mind busy. I've tried drugs, booze, all of it in excess. As long as I'm thinking about something I'm interested in then I do ok. The meds they gave me just made me a doormat, and that's just not me. Besides, I figure a lot of stuff out when I keep my head running all the time and therefor accomplish quite a bit toward my goals. When they had me on the meds it was like "give us your money, here's your drugs, have a nice life" they were more interested in my money than actually helping me.
As far as the fart bags on the cows go, it's supposed to save the environment right? Let's look at this a little more closely. There is such a thing as manufacturing collateral, in short, it's the polloution created to create any particular product. Someone didn't just say "fart bag" and it appeared, the resources had to be gathered (heavy equipment), then turned into raw material (refinery of some kind), then made into a fart bag in a factory. There's also the polloution created when they're transported by semi truck I'm sure, I'm equally as sure that there are people driving around regulating the standards and practices of the fart bags. Then, on top of that you have a bunch of hippies driving out to the country to see how they're saving the planet, not to mention what do you do with a fart bag when it gets a hole in it? Recycle? That had manufacturing collateral as well.
I also love the fact that electric cars running around full of toxic chemicals are considered better for the environment, they had to make the batteries, and they have to make the electricity to charge them, they have to dispose of them when they go bad, and sometime, just sometimes, cars crash into each other and their insides become outsides and all the poison leaks out into the ground.
We're going to save ourselves to death.

Since this GW discussion has turned to medication, esp for the mind, May I suggest a very good and powerful read?
You don't really need to get into the depths of this book if you don't want to, the further you go, the more spiritual it gets. But you need not go there.
The first part, preface etc is important.
The first chapter is what changed my entire outlook about myself, and the way I see me.
Most often, depression (among other things) is centered around thoughts.
The first chapter is all that I needed to break free of a spiraling mental shltstorm.
This has helped me, and a few of my friends, and it didn't take long at all, and it's pretty easy to understand.
Give the first chapter a read. Follow what the writer says. It's really quite simple, and I can almost guarantee your mind will be freed.

I just think it's great that the chemically imbalanced, self medicators, outright drug abusers and and full blown alcoholics all have this place on the interwebs. Free to irritate, infuriate, and occasionally discuss issues involving go karts, and at times, so precious and rare, solve problems that may seem silly, but sometimes life changing.

Well there's several versions of the Hummer H1, 350 gas, 6.2 IDI diesel, 6.5 IDI diesel, and the 6.6L Duramax in the H1 Alpha. Though I do agree that most Prius owners are drinking the Kool aid.

That's the problem, which I said before, and Eric so stupidly misinterpreted, is that IT SHOULDN'T BE POLITICAL, IT'S A PHYSICAL PHENOMENA, real or imaginary, hyped up or suppressed, that should not be simply decided by party lines!
