We can argue about this all day long, and I'm not denying global warming, but whatever our emissions does to the earth short and long term, I just want to be able to run a 2-stroke till I'm too old to do so, and that's looking doubtful.

Where I have a problem is them adding choking emissions control on engines that end up killing reliability. I have no issue going electric or fuel cell, long as the infrastructure is there to support it (getting there). But there needs to be standards for electric vehicles for plugins like diesel and gasoline nozzles are standardized. It's when they say that I cannot have a fire place or BBQ grill going, is where I have a HUGE problem.

They want to regulate the crap out of grills (propane and charcoal) so they are practically illegal or highly restrictive. Same thing with having a fire place in the house or outside bonfire.

What's worse IMO, is this Antibacterial fetish, and overuse and abuse of antibiotics. First, antibiotics are overprescriped, and second, abuse. If you don't take the whole round of antibiotics, the "bug" will survive and mutate to become more antibiotic resistant.

Similarly, all this incessant use of anti-microbial products will have the same effect of breeding "Superbugs."

Why is it Mexicans can drink the water, but we can't? It's because the human body has mechanisms installed to deal with bacteria. In small doses, over time, we become immune. Over reactive removal of everyday bacteria in fact will make us more vulnerable.

I was one of many that thought allowing them state side had bad idea written all over it. I don't care how in control you think you are, the gown failure could have allowed the virus to spread much more than it did. They lack any contingency to prevent this from happening. Leave them in the country of origin, or ship then off to a deserted island that is ready for it. Don't bring it to the mainland, where you can infect 300+ million.

They didn't have the balls to tell me to man up and quit drinking, even though I already knew I should.

So I did it myself, and a month or two later I quit taking 90% of the pills.
After quitting vodka for breakfast, everything returned to normal, and I just don't need booze anymore.

My problems were my own, I owned them, and addressed it.

I guess my point is, the doctors would rather let you kill yourself, and add to it with pills than anything else.

You might have missed an article for a year or two ago, but the Government of Norway, said that within the next few years, gasoline and diesel powered vehicles will be illegal to buy and I believe owned. Elon Musk tweeted this and said thank you to the Government of Norway, as it could help push Tesla sales.

Depresson is real medical diagnosis, I have had problems with it since coming home from military. I have been taking meds for twenty years, with follow-up on regular basis. I didn't know what was wrong. Frirst I tried to drink myself to death then drugs. The meds and pot is about all that keeps me going. I agree that its an easy way out for a lot of drs. For some people it is a very real problem. Yes I said pot. Not ashamed of it. Its not for everybody but helps me.

Yes chancer. we haven't had any new reservoir construction since the 60s yet millions of new residents using the 60s water supply infrastructure. Every other day a main line burst.
