Getting started help me

Hi my fellow DIY Masterminds!
I am new to go karting, but not to
motorized vehicles. I own a 1960s Huffy with a Tanka or Tonka motor on it. I am also almost done with a Electric bike.
But I just waaaant a go kart in my iron fleet
of awsomeness!
Any tips? The main part Im confused about is
the transmission

well if you want a tranny your either going to have to spend a lot for a comet FNR gear box or you could go with a motorcycle or atv engines and theres your tranny. OR you also could use a torque converter but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for one....
