So i cleaned out the garage today to get ready for kart-building time.. And of course found a few projects to do. Since the camera was sitting out there I snapped a few photos.

First, I was thinking about returning some of those 4" wheels to harbor freight. I'd bought them to fix a garden cart but the bore size was wrong.

Then I was looking at my torch, and thinking about how I hated the wheels that were on it because they don't roll very well.

So, I cut them off (with the torch itself, of course).

Then I found a really long 5/8" bolt (above) to use for the axles, but I had to cut it in two.

Which made me notice that my cut-off saw needed a new blade put on... Which luckily I'd bought a few replacements on the last Home Depot trip...

So, blade replaced, made the cuts, welded the axles into place...

And, BAM! New wheels for the ol' torch. No need to go to Harbor Freight any more! (well, today at least!)

Now... What to do about that axle in the background... :devil2:

Ah, spring.

LOL, fixing/replacing worn parts on tools to fix other tools. Good job though! I've been wanting to build a wagon to cart stuff like heavy tools around in. I have the four wheels I got at harbor that I was originally planning on using on my kart. I'm thinking of using them for that.
