ok some of these subtleties to the parts are not so easy to comprehend...

im not sure what kind of clutch would fit this engine

www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=96549

also has anyone used this clutch because it is getting some piss-poor consumer reviews...

www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200310374_200310374

i read the steering assembly section and frankly it just doesn't answer any questions.... step by step, how do you get the steering setup right and what would you need?

also im pretty confused about the whole brake setup.
do bands get the job done on a two seater, or do you need to step up to drum, or even disk.

and how do you get the brake on the wheel.

how do you get the whole throttle cable, brake cable, and kill switch cable system right?

does anybody got ideas on some affordable parts that last a while.

what's up with the whole sprocket thing and what are they for.

help por favor

You can pretty much use any 3/4" bore clutch on that engine. As for the clutch you linked to, never used it but I was reading those reviews and the three of the six that gave it a high rating sound more like promotional ratings or something. They were probably planted there so that the negative posts wouldn't hurt the review so much. The three that had a low rating sound a little more realistic. Did you notice that?

I believe band will get the job done for your project unless your goin all out offroad (disc setup). I would personally choose drum brake but band will do fine.

Are you going live axle or single wheel?
Live: Brakes attach do axle anywhere on it.
Single wheel: The brake is attached to either the wheel hub or a double flanged hub.

Sproket = gear that you put a chain around (example: bicycle chain etc.)

Well i gotta go right now ill post more later...
