throttle setup

here is a pic of the broken end of throttle cable which comes from motor and is supposed to hook up to metal rod coming from gas pedal....any ideas how i can hook it up? metal ring around rod has a tiny hole but aint no way that cable gonna be able to go thru IMO.


im thinking of buying something similar to bolt thingy that hold the end up this cable..


open to suggestions
