I have a large paved area for riding if anyone is interested.
Kennesaw GA. Right off 75.
Trying to get a group together for Sunday.
Family day. Kids, cooking out.
The trailer is in the middle of a huge 8
Parking lots on either side of buildings.

Unfortunately.... 85 miles.
I rode around for about 3 hrs Sunday. Had a blast. No one was around or bothered me. Did some huge laps. Full speed. Hardly even used the brake for Alot of it. It's wide enough to bank into most of the curves.

This is key.

Having permission is ideal for continued use of the lot. I'm assuming you have permission for more than one kart and a crowd of people?

Business owners and the like are concerned about liability these days. You are fortunate.

Dang yeah that's too far for me to make it this weekend :(

Sounds like a great place to ride though! What is the distance around the whole thing?? Did you clock it?

Oh and are minibikes welcomed :D

I agree. If we have 4 or 5 guys riding around on noisy go carts/minibikes someone is likely to call the cops :surrender:

All you need now is sidewalk chalk and some cheap fluorescent traffic cones to map out a road course.

One reason I use the place on Sunday. Pretty much empty. Businesses are closed and the closest... Thing..... Is Walmart about a mile away.
Don't think I'd hear the end of chalk lines everywhere. Lots and lots of cones. Lol

Not really. Right now just me and Choctaw.
I think he's bringing his son. I was planning on bring one of my grandkids.
Hoping for a few more.

Looking like it's just me and Choctaw. Maybe if this one goes well, we'll post some pics and distance. Laptimes.
Maybe it will make others more comfortable.
Idk. For me, what's the use in having toys if you can't play with them. I don't plan on letting mine sit in the garage much. Lol
I turn 41 this year, and if building go karts is part of my mid-life crisis..... So be it. Lots of fun and definitely more expensive hobbies I could have.

Post some pics for sure! I agree, no point in letting stuff just sit there

Wait, you are 41 and have a grandkid?? How old is the kid?? You must have had kids really early haha

I'm about 20-30 minutes from there. Might take my son up to ride one of these weekends. I'm currently in the market for some tires before he burns all the rubber off these Ones he has. I guess I'll be going for slicks.

if it's a midlife crisis I'll live to be 120
