I've been looking for an air filter for my shifter cart engine. The engine is a 100cc 4 stroke, i was originally going to get a K&N or Uni Pod but they are all around $20. I recently found this off brand one on ebay, it looks like a uni pod and is the right size for my carb. So is it worth buying the off brand or is the K&N or Uni Pod going to be a lot better.

Heres the link

Cheap airfilters for cheap engines! Have you seen the piston and bore of a engine run with a faulty/no airfilter?

You could always go the cheap route, and put a piece of pantyhose over the air filter, too ..... Believe it or not, that's what I'm running on my 47cc pocketbike engine, along with a custom Altoids can air cleaner ... Works great, and gets lots of laughs.

However, since you'll be offroad, I'd say spend the $20 for a good K&N ....
