Your clutch would immediately burn out and you would not move. If you got some sort of running start, then potentially you could get anywhere. Either way it is totally impractical.

Due to the tiny engines in these bikes, it may be close to it's peak speed gearing already. You can try installing a rear sprocket that has a few less teeth on it, but be aware that the clutch may not be able to tolerate much more load and burn out, or the engine just won't have the torque to get you there.

I agree with toy-story, you probably won't be able able to get much more speed with your current engine.

Realfast89gt-It's a lotus not sure what model, I took the picture myself at a racetrack.

I agree with all the above. Your engine is small, and gearing higher is going to be a problem for you. You also have 16" tyres, which are freaky big for the size engine that you have. Get smaller wheels if you want to go a bit faster

Post your sprocket tooth counts as well, there is not much we can tell you without those

if you feel it takes forever to get top speed, get a LARGER driven sprocket
if you feel it gets top speed very easily, get a SMALLER driven sprocket

until it feels "just right", there is always room to improve the top speed. If you really want, just go downhill with a tiny sprocket :D

12000rpm really?

dmaznic-
Some of those small 2-stroke pocket bike engines probably rev pretty high. To 12,000 Rpm's? Maybe not, but probably over 5,000. Correct me if I'm wrong.
