Gearing question

What's the best gearing for a combination of speed and low end toque for a 13 hp honda and 13 inch rear tires? Thanks.

6:1 will be fine. With the big engine you could go higher with 5:1

With a 13hp engine, you have buckets of torque built in so, you can afford to gear a little higher to get a higher top speed & still break traction in a heartbeat...
