I picked up a lawn tractor today and am starting to build a kart to drive down to my beach and back. Down hill around 25-30*. Here is what my gearing came out to. Can you tell me if the motor I want will work? I need the Tq to go up the hill.
Looking at 750w 36V to drive this.
So motor to trans , trans to axle.
Tire size = 13"
Pulley that the motor will drive on the transmission 6"
- 1'st gear 1 revolution of the tire = 9 revolutions of the pulley
- 5'th gear 1 revolution of the tire = 31 revolutions of the pulley.
What do you think. Will that motor work?
