Hi I have a radio flyer kart build. Been away from it for a while. My build post has been closed. Don't know why, maybe because I was gone so long.
I need help with picking the right sprockets. I have a 72 teeth axle sprocket and can use it but here is what I have.
10" tall tires, a 79cc 3HP Predator motor. Its going to be for grand-kids needs to go a little slower that a teenager or older would want. I will want to ride it at car shows but it does not need to be fast. I'm thinking if I go with the 72 axle sprocket and a 12 centrifugal clutch, it will give me a 6:1 . Do you guys think this will work ? I really don't know much about this stuff and am reading as much as I can. I think it would make the kart go 12 to 15 mph. Is that enough to get the kart to move from a stop ?
Thanks for any help.
