some what, but for the new kart builder a great place to start! Weight (mass) is there and so is co-eff of friction etc., I plugged in my real world (measured) figures of my kart and it was close enough..I still think it is a very good start point for a DIY Kart newbie, working on the DIY K.I.S.S building principles
