gearing help!!! 212cc

so i have a like a stage 3 predator 212cc on racing kart frame i don’t know the size of the tired but there are normal racing slicks and kind of wide but my back sprocket is 61 and my clutch sprocket is 12 can someone please help me if this a bad choice? and if it is what is the best choice i’m looking for low end torque but with high end ( i’m not racing on a track just around my street loll) i’m looking to go atleast 45mph would like a little faster but don’t want it to be sluggish this is my first engine build so i don’t know what my speed will be i’m just assuming from videos and stuff so if it sounds unreal than it prolly is because i don’t know yet lol

at the moment you top speed is around 53 mph

Assuming the clutch can take the strain of a 5:1 ratio, yes.

Race karts tend to have smallish tires, but are also designed to run on flat, hard surfaces. If that be the case, you'll probably do OK. If you're looking to use it as a yard kart, you might need to regear.

The type of clutch you're running will make a big difference too. A disc type racing clutch with a relatively high engagement would be appropriate for that setup instead of a plain old centrifugal.
