Gearing for speed

help me go 50mph on a carter go kart 14in tall tires, have a new 11 hp blue hf engine. im 180 pounds and i am rebuilding a cart for me and one for my daughter , its a manco for her . but i wanted to know if i can get that speed w/ t.c. or go with diffrent gears as it does have a jack shaft and is pully driven from motor to jack and sprocket from jack to drive tire.. i am a machinist and if special parts need to be made to reach this thats cool to .. Please help

Used the calculator and it says you need a 20T on the jack shaft and a 60 on the axle to get a 50mph top speed. With this set up even with a tc you would probably need a big push to get it moving.

what if i put a bigger pully on the engine ,smaller one on the jack shaft to double the rpms to the drive sproket on the jack shaft ?

You'll need a CVT (torque convertor) and an increase in engine RPM, by altering or defeating the governor. Even then, it's questionable. RPM and ratios are lovely and all, but if you don't have enough power, the numbers will remain thoretical. Best bet? Sell or return the industrial engine, and go source one from a bike, quad, or sled.

Make dang good and sure your kart is quite sturdy, and all the components are up to the task.
