What would be the best gearing for a predator 212 engine on a shifter kart frame? I want a ratio that will give me good bottom end but still god top end power. Any suggestions?

What's the total weight on the kart? How fast do you want to go? How tall are your back wheels? Cvt or cent clutch?

a good starting point is 6:1. More speed 5:1, more torque 7:1 all depends on how you want to drive it.
