I reacently took my bar stool to the local track which is 1/8 mile. With a 12t clutch sprocket and a 53t axle sprocket and 11" tires with a centrifical clutch i ran 34 mph. What would be an ideal set up for more speed. Would an 18 or 19 tooth clutch sprocket and the 53t and 11" tires at about 5000 rpm be faster i know it wont hav good acceleration but im looking for mph. What would you guys do?

That would give you a ratio of about 2.7:1. Your barstool will probably not even move because the clutch will be slipping so much. The ratio you have now IMO is probably the best you are going to get

:iagree: Much higher on the gearing & you'll end up frying clutches. You can go up a bit (maybe 50t axle) but, not much...

Remember, what you gain in top speed you lose in acceleration
