Not sure of the name
Everyone is copying everyone

I've found sites saying there engines are a direct copy of engine X
Only to find engine X is a copy of engine Y
And so on

If its for sale just leave it
All the reviews are bad
Stuff like is there anyone who hasn't had issues
And they all seam to require a rebuilt around 1000kms

I've been trying to chase up some info for HaM551

Exactly, all of these engines look really similar to eachother. It's almost impossible to tell you what it is.
Have you looked up the serial number already?

@Topicstarter, it appears you have a wrong starter. The + connection is with mine on the side, close the the gear. Yours is at the top, almost under the carburetor. I guess you'll start to have a look at another one. I'll post a picture of mine as soon as possible so you know what to look for.

Oh, ok. You could make some sort of hub to get it connected to your engine. Goodluck!

Well I fired my engine up today and guess what didn't start up been googling for months on end and all I get is a zongshen 5 speed indecator guy said I need a ECU bord to power it up because its a safty neutral switch but on the other hand my wiring loom don't have anymore wires to connect a gear sensor :/

My engine is working perfectly without the gear sensor cable attach to anything...
I haven't tried the electric start, as the cables aren't hooked up yet, but as far as I can see, there is a slight chance the starter won't start when you're not in neutral...
There's a cable connected to the starter solenoid which I don't know where it's coming from.
