Hey guys, I was looking to get a new sprocket and decided to change sizes. Right now I have a 60 tooth and a 12 tooth clutch on a yard kart frame that has 12” back tires. I was wondering some suggestions for gear ratio, keep in mind I would like more top end spend rather than torque. Thanks!

48 tooth would probably work...but best if you have a torque converter to go along with your ratio change.
Getting a 48T would gibe you a 4:1 gear ratio. That is a little bit high. Even with a TC you are slightly on the high side. If it were me, I would probably go for a 54T and a TC.
It is hard to say though without knowing weight of the kart and rider

Oh yeah I don't see a problem I bet its probably 210 combined weight. Also note you have a one wheel peel kart...so you get less traction then a live axle kart. TAV may or may not work right this way.
