Gear ratio question

Hey y’all, I have a predator 212 making approximately 9 to 10 hp, a 1” axle, 12” tall tires and a torque converter. What size sprocket would you guys recommend?

56 with a centrifugal clutch, light kart on pavement.

12-tooth drive sprocket for a #35 chain, 60-tooth axle sprocket if you like hard acceleration without much ground clearance at all for it. With 12' tires (4.10-3.50-6) I'd either use an axle sprocket as described by the builders above for the ground clearance of that sprocket. Trade some acceleration for higher top end that way, maybe not bend the sprocket on a curb or petrified cow pies.
Change all that by using a torque converter for better-everything-at-low-or-top-end.
