id be impressed if u get that reduction box off it will be rusted on very well
the reduction is probs 5:1 we used then on grain cleaners
id buy it just cause its $50 and at last resort the metal is probs worth that
but it was a chemical pump so it will be corroded to no end and when those chemicals get on rubber it eats
i was going to get it anyways but i was wondering what to gear reduction is so i could use a smaller sprocket i looked it up and it says its a 6:1 hmmm so im probally going to remove the gear recution
u dont really need to remove it u can just have equal sprockets in the drive chain or gear it up so u can have a small sprocket on your axil (better ground clearence)
You can't just slap a centrifugal clutch on a reduction box. Think about it. Engine spinning 3600, reduced by 6:1, so output's spinning 600rpm. Clutch will not engage...
Yer just remove it. Shouldnt be rusted on to much. Just use the correct spanner/socket and u will be fine. If it starts to round then heat that ****er up!
You may not be able to just remove it. I know on my wisconsin with a gear reduction box, the PTO itself is machined into a gear. Yours could be the same, or tapered.
