Just scored a craigslist pressure washer for 20 bucks. Owner said it was locked up, had old strap style pump so figured it was worth the gamble. Removed pump and it started on first pull. I call that a nice win.
Even included some nice harbor freight wheels. He was in the process of repairing then gave up. Plans are going to get a pump and give to my brother in law for his side business fence company. I think it'll do. Any ideas or opinions post em up.
Got tired of the faded and falling off honda sticker. So I printed my own. Waiting on seals for old tt9071 pump, and hopefully a crank so I can use it. Also cleaned all the rust and corrosion off. Almost presentable now.
The exhaust on these engines point directly at your head, so unless you can somehow make a new exhaust and reroute it another way, then you are going to have problems. The shaft is also a smaller size, making it hard to find appropriate clutches
Ressurrecting this thread just to say that it's very easy to either a)install a deflector of some sort so the exhaust doesn't hit you in the back, b) weld a piece of pipe directly to the end of the muffler and turn to point the back, but the most important thing is the exhaust really doesn't get that bad as long as you're like 12" or more away from it.
Point is that these engines work pretty good for a go-kart. I've used 2 now and they both have a few thousand miles on them by now and still run great.
