Does anyone know of a gas tank that is longer than 2 ft long and would work for a harbor freight 6.5 engine. Because whenever i try filling up there is a bar from the frame in the way and i usually spill gas. Thanks

Is there a half inch of clearance to use a funnel?

How about a "gas" bong? Seriously, it would get the job done and would be a cool accessory strapped to your kart.

im thinking of something kind of like what anderkart said to use... its cone shaped and is made for the purpose of not spilling gas. :roflol:

btw.... a huge gas tank isnt the best idea, because old gas isnt kind to your engine when it sits in there all year.

How about from a generator. Generator tanks have a nice petcock and a guage on top. Nice mounting rails as well. This is what I did.

Also I just move the clone tank. Here is what I did to move the tank. The clone tank was right into the back of the seat. I had an extra one so I used both of them. I did this to a few karts. Here is some pics.

Who was it then that bought the $20 air tanks from HF and put on filler caps and drain petcocks?
