I'm surprised how much love Tank A is getting.
It is my least favorite.

Another option.... Mount it to the top plate. I like these taco bikes. People do em up real nice like.

The more I stare at this, the more I like it. And I'm starting to see a Sailboat.
Wanted to mount pump and solenoid on the plate if I add N2O, but I think I like the tank there.

I like Option D, the combination of all three--chrome and teardrop shaped.

Mounted between the knees of course where all that nice real estate resides...

:iagree:

Tank A is not better then tank B... Tank B is a proper choice, Tank Taco seasoning Trumps Tank B & C......

If Tank Taco seasoning were to be Used Bob would have no place for his NOS kit, Tank B is best option....

If Bob returned NOS kit to store Bob could use Tank Taco seasoning...

Bob probably won't return NOS kit so Bob needs to Destroy NOS kit Via car tire......

With NOS kit Destroyed Bob can now use Tank Taco seasoning..... :) Problem solved ;)

All those who voted for A...
Show me a picture of a minibike where an aftermarket tank of that sort was added to a frame that didn't originally have one. Find one that looks good.

The poll and this whole thread is a waste of time since none of those tanks in the photos are real. They're made of pixels!

They look rather poor too so forget about your A looking any good at all. I'm calling this null and void. :D

Well you asked for opinions. Why put it on there if it was your least favorite? Honest question not trying to be a jerk.

That is why I asked for real photos of real tanks on real minibikes. If you can find me one that looks good, I'd like to see it.

You should try to find one of those old time 2.2 gal mini kegs they used to have in the 70's. Now that would be cool!

You should not pay attention to Hellion. It is Saturday night and he has obviously been stood up on a date. He is horny and very upset.

This one's pretty cool! Keeps the gas warm in the winter months too...

The Results are as follows.

7 votes for A
1,000,002 votes for B (my vote counts for 1,000,000)
2 votes for C

Not sure it will really influence my decision... [Poles] are hardly ever useful on here, IMHO. LOL

Okay.. I'll say it then...
IT MUST BE C!
'sid

itsid and Panhead are today's Big Winners!!!!!!!!

It must be C!

Tank A is ugly as sin. Tank Taco Seasoning won't fit. I don't like my Tank B mounting options vs the powder coat.

For tank "C" I can attach some "L" brackets under the seat. Possibly using bolts. Possibly using the same bolt holes for the seat. I think I'll have room for the cap and the clamps between the frame.

I think this one looks pretty good. Not the same bike but regardless

That tank does look good on that bike.

:bannana::bannana::bannana:

The back of my seat is 7" wide by 5" High.
So the top of the cap should be about flush with the top of the seat and the tank will extend out about 1.5" on either side of the seat.
