It was supposed to be in my 11th grade year, but we never had time to work on it so it got canceled. Well I got bored in class one day and me and my friend Patrick decided to tear it down and build a go kart of our own just for fun.

Well I've got good news and bad news...


The good news is: IT'S SNOWING IN SC TOMORROW!

The bad news is: School's canceled. Which means no Auto Tech. Which means no work on the go kart. Delays delays delays...

I have to order the clutch tomorrow since the local small engine shop's been closed over the weekend. Hopefully I'll be getting the rest of my Christmas money here soon so I can get my rear sprocket.


The reason why snow is good news, is because I love the snow, and we only get snow MAYBE once per year. I usually like to take the Jeep and do some snow drifting/offroading, so tomorrow's going to be fun either way.

That's how people are down here... 3 inches of snow and ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. I don't get it either.


Not much left to do on the kart either way. As soon as I get my clutch and sprocket, this kart is pretty much done for now.

Yeah i couldnt believe I got it working, i was on the verge of giving up and trashing it, so I went to my last resort.......shorting it out lol, sure enough it started to flicker on and off so i shorted it one good time now i havent had a problem with it.

Yeah Im working on the electrical at my house so gary hasnt been able to see the remote start work yet.

Well I went by the local small engine shop today and they have our centrifugal clutch. I just have to meet up with Patrick because he has the money for it.

I didn't know it was there... We went last week and they told us to come by Monday if we didn't get one and they would order one for us... I went in today to get it ordered (Which doesn't cost money up front) and they said they found one in the storage room.


We got the right clutch now! Which means I'll be mounting the engine tomorrow!!!
