That is beautiful! Do you have any build photos or plans/directions/info on how you did it? Is it just a small stripped snow mobile? How did you drive the track and where did you get it? Basically, more info please! I love it.

Thats pretty slick!

I like it!

the only thing i wonder, is if the front A-arms could be arched, kinda curved, to give a bit more clearance sorta things.. not that id expect it to be rode out in super deep snow n all that.. lol

would be kewl to see a build thread for it...

That is awesome! So, how does it handle and how fast? I built a sled out of PVC pipe but this is really cool!

Hey guys. Thanks for the comments.
Yes it is all made by me, mostly all 1" tubing. I didn't have any plans just made it up as i went.
Didn't even think to take pics when I was building it. sorry.
But it's a Greyhound 6.5 hp clone with a torque converter, geared very low cause I didn't know if it would have enough power, so it don't go very fast maybe 15 - 20 mph.
The skies are old Ski-doo skies shortened, the track is driven by the drive wheels form the old Ski-doo ( basicly two big rubber gears). The track is really bailer belting ( got it at Farm & Fleet).
Maybe I can take some more detailed pic to show things better.

Hey thanks for the hot tip. I just googled baler belt and learned a thing or two. That is a viable option. The retailer I checked out had belting 7" wide. I don't know if you can get wider, but it's a good starting point.

Here's a couple pics inside the track. It's 10" wide.
The first one shows the drive wheels.
The second one shows a line of lugs for the wheels to grab.
The 6 little wheels are from inline skates.
Third one shows the adjusters to get it to run straight.
