Hey gang,
Thanks so mush for all of your help up to this point getting my cart project up to speed (pun intended). I need recommendations for front wheels and tires now and have no idea where to start. Not so much picking out which ones exactly, more like what do I need to get to make sure I have a set that will last. Right now I have bare spindles that are 5/8" I believe and threaded at the ends (but pretty sure the threading is garbage. I wouldn't mind swapping the whole spindle assembly out for something new, but I'm open to suggestions. I bought some really tiny Amazon cart wheel/tire garbage and they lasted all of 4 minutes before bending and ripping the hub off. IMG-4406.jpg

Oh geez those look horrible as well. Somebody will have some recommendations, just DO NOT get harbor freight tires, they are crap and to small to look good and give good ground clearance. But I think you learned the lesson about cheep tires. :lolgoku:
it is going to look great with right set!

What do I need to get as far as hardware? Like I don’t want to slap another wheel set on there and have those bent. Is there an attachment that I’m missing? I’d like something larger like a small 4 wheeler tire but those have hub style bolt patterns.

You can buy separate hubs, I have them on my Streaker, it has split rims, an I think a small quad tire would look nice. If I get the chance I’ll snap some pictures of my kart’s front for reference.

😆 🤣 😂 some people around here have tried those wheels tires too. They had the same results, as you.

Take those off and get some measurements and pics. I'm sure they are plenty that will fit.

BTW, put up some pics of your engine/ tav setup, on the other thread. Looks nice from this angle 👌

There are lots of wheels with bearings for 5/8 axles. Go Power Sports.
6" rims. 15 x 6:50 x 6 tires and you're good to go. Never heard of REAL
STEEL go kart wheels bending from normal use. Looks like Amazon didn't
do so well for you. I don't think any of the major kart supply shops would
sell such a POS.
