Ok so I have front tires that will work perfect on the back for a 1” live axle but cannot find hubs! The rims are 9” and have a 4” bolt circle with a 2 7/8 space between each stud? if I understand right they do not even make 1” live axle hubs with this pattern? Why! All I can find are 1” live axle hubs with a 4” bolt circle and a 4” space between each stud? I understand the 2 7/8 space Between each stud is for 5/8 axles/ spindles only. it’s just frustrating... i mean not one company thought this would be a good idea?? 02B3327F-E8BB-482B-99A6-BDFC58BC936B.jpeg

lets rant a little bit.. companies don’t make a 1” live axle hub to fit these perfect size buggy tires but do make a hub to fit these oversized fourwheeler tires?? What’s the deal? rant over.. edit: screwed up with the order on the pictures that last picture with the 2 7/8 space between studs is the small tire.013578CE-4F3F-468B-A35D-FDAD41541C63.jpeg18DAB2A1-4DB5-42A6-82E2-3B3041C53251.jpegE7D535C8-DCA1-4846-85C7-4CB42E0C8A68.jpegCF9FF1FF-0C27-4079-BF73-A9819F365643.jpegE4F3CDC6-D4A0-40C8-AFBD-E38F872234CB.jpeg

Let’s finish this rant off with a bang! I could use these tires if I returned every single part and bought a weaker 3/4 live axle! of course the hubs for the 3/4 axle will fit the axle and mount right to these tires! come on they already made the pattern for the 3/4 axle just go the distance and make the same hubs for the 1” and let people be happy.. it’s 2022 and I found something that isn’t made but should be easily available. Of course I’m lucky enough to do that! Edit: if They made these hubs my stock of front 5/8 bearing tractor wheels would bolt directly to the front meaning i wouldn’t have to by tires at all! The universe just does not want this kart to be built.

It’s 2022 and I can purchase a 3/4 live axle and mount 6” rims.. heck why use the smaller axle anyway? i Have already bolted 6” rims to a 1” live axle. I can bolt giant fourwheeler rims to a 1” live axle but 9” rims on a 1” live woah slow down there buddy that’s off limits! 61E0FB11-5B80-4D9C-AAE7-99EAACAEA02E.png

First off if you read the sidewall on that tire you may find that is an 8” rim not 9”. The proper way to measure the lug pattern is diagonally.

Really trying hard to understand what it is you cannot find. What's usually referred to as {4 x 4 hub for 1" live axle, no step} will bolt up directly to any rim that has a 4" bolt circle and a center hole large enough for the hub's center hub. Like Denny said................

Can't think of the math right now to figure how far apart any 2 adjacent lugs of a 4x4 wheel hub would be, but it doesn't matter anyway. They're only sized by the diameter of a perfect circle that traverses all 4 bolts (lugs). So like Denny said, the distance from any of the lugs across the center "pilot" hole to the opposite lug is the measure of the bolt circle. See attached link to MFG Supply 4x4 (4 bolts on a 4" bolt circle) hub below that's for a 1" straight-through (no step) live axle. Note the (4) steel wheel numbers they give that the hub will fit onto: Those rims are all 8" rims, ranging in width from 3&3/4" to 5&3/8" to 7" to 9" wide. Slap one on a 4X4 hub and voila!

Just for yucks, here's links to the last set of 1" live axle and 3/4" bearing wheels I got from MFG. Price is almost double now what I paid then.
