Here are some pics of the "straightened" lever box ;)
...I hit the pic max on the last post

After doin' lots & lots of clean up (like a gallon of degreaser)
...& a lot of "elbow grease" :p

I brushed a good coat of Rustoleum Oil Based Satin black paint, on most everything, that wasn't aluminum
...then re-installed the control lever indicator panel

The rear chain tie-down "eyes" were gettin' pretty well worn :ack2:
...so, I got some metal inserts to "beef" a couple of 'em up

The inserts with a single chain slot are called "banjos"
...& the ones with double chain slots are called "bunny ears"

They simply mount from underneath, with (4) 3/8" x 2" bolts

The hardest part is removing some of the old aluminum material
...so, there's easy access to the "new" slot, down below

I just used a hole saw
...then, a jig saw
...& finally, smoothed 'em a bit

I had to tow a Chevy cab-over truck yesterday
...& she carried it like it wasn't even back there :)

I must say...these trucks are "beasts"
