Hello Everyone

Was looking at having a go kart shipped, was wondering if anyone

Any help on my topic would be appreciated Thanks

I haven't shipped a go kart with Yellow, but I ship several crates of heavy machine parts from Michigan to New Hampshire and back for NDT every year, and they have been reliable and very affordable. Be warned though, afterwards, they will call you literally every week or two to ask if you have anything you need to ship.

Make sure you specify lift gate service if you don't have a forklift or machine to unload with. It will add to the cost, but they (nor will any carrier) help you hand unload.

Fastenal also does freight shipping cross country from store to store using the empty space in their trucks. Very reasonable and convenient pricing. They handle the loading and unloading, you just have to strap it to a skid and drop it off, or come pick it up when they call you if you're on the receiving end. I know of several people who have shipped and taken delivery of garden tractors shipped via Fastenal freight, and all were highly satisfied.

You should get some bids from a free online service called uShip. They have a huge network of Independent shippers that'll keep placing lower and lower bids on shipping your Item until you finally select one. You'll be able to view all the various shippers feedback ratings and you can call/talk to the drivers directly. You don't pay anything until the Item arrives safely to your destination. I had them ship a huge (150lb./6'-wide) John Deere riding mower deck from a residential home in Wisconsin to my home in Phoenix for like $100...

I am using SouthWestern for almost two years and can say that they are working fast only in the Southern regions of the US. When I lived in Texas, all of my packages were delivered in a planned period of time, but another story is about when I lived in Seattle. I ordered laptop from European shop and was able to track my international parcel properly, but SouthWestern delayed my delivery for almost a week. Maybe this is a coincidence, so try to use such services only in the South of the US

I've used uShip also, and got a good price on sending the DragginBallz minibike from Florida to Ohio. I think it was $300 to ship inside a closed trailer, door-to-door service, no box or pallet required, and those kind of extras were important to me, "Sun or Snow Transport".
Even if you're not a high-strung worrywart like me, I highly recommend paying the extra $50 for no-fault insurance in the event of theft or crash that shippers don't always cover. Saved me from a 24-hour anxiety attack, well worth it.
