FREE Honda gx160

Just been given a free gx160 from work, its been used as a gennie and the alternator broke so its being scrapped, runs great. i wonder what to fit it to...... i have a 200 for my kart so not there. im no welder so i cant fabricate a frame. Perhaps a mini chopper? let me know your ideas

I hooked an old one up to a belt driven fan for the summers in the garage, but that depends on where your located and what kind of junk you got around to hook it to. I've seen old motors attached to grinding wheels even... All depends on what ya need to spin, lol. Might be able to pick up a cheap mini frame some place. check CList & ebay.

Something unusual huh? Also check your local Freecycle groups, you can get some nice freebies at times.

yeah might do, ive been eyeing some welders up, i have considered selling to buy some tasty 10cm speakers for my transporter. might be on ebay cheap, il let you know.

thats what ive been wanting to do!!
but due to the tiny wheel base and high center of gravity, i might just try a 2hp engine lol (its the only small engine i have that would actually fit under the body)
now all i need is some spare cash... hehe

I've seen them on youtube a lot. Some of the cooler jeeps had custom sheet metal bodies and used lawnmower trans-axles. I would love to make one myself but i dont have the time, i already have 4 projects going on at once.
