freak, you seem offended. i didn't say to do this or that with it, that's not my place. i was just spelling it out for those who don't understand collecting and who seek to be petty. jay leno has a great idea for older vehicles, drive them so that someone will start making parts again. but, unless original will also decrease the value. i hate to go here, but if you have a wife, and she is the epitome of 'a virtuous woman' why run her ragged with bs and ruin a good thing? this is why i don't get anything of substantial value. i am hard on things and would hate to ruin something.

it aint u its the other dude....

Haha I think we need to get this thread back on track! Does anyone know if the brakes off a rz350 will work on my kart, I can make brackets for the caliper and fab pretty much anything

I'd imagine you could make it work one way or the other but since this kart may have considerable collector value someday I'd suggest fab-ing your adaptor brackets to bolt everything up to the karts existing mounting holes.

Have you already looked into trying to locate an origanal style Caliper, Rotor/Hub and Master Cylinder? (should stop great and it might end up being a really good investment...)

Yeah I couldnt tell what brand of Caliper you got there but rebuild kits are avalible for most all of-em. (and for older Master cylinders too)

Got a new engine for my kart. Its off our old snowblower its a 6hp. Put it on a few days ago the only problem is the tank is at such an angle it wont stay running for long. Any ideas of how to mount it up so it can feed the carb? Pictures would be great!
here are some.

And here is how my throttle is hooked up. It works perfect.

A few things. Mainly, is that carb pointing directly at the driver? If so, let's hope we don't have any backfires. Also, if that wheel is aluminum you should melt it down into a blob for Shi** and giggles and send gogo the video. I'm sure all of us would wire you a few bucks over paypal for a new one of someone would have one laying around to give to you. Or, tell him that the wheel suddenly gained sentimental value and you want AT LEAST $3,000 for it or it's no deal. If you are just going to drive it for fun or competition like most of this community does, what's a wheel when he'll shell out big bucks for it?

Can someone show me a decent hydraulic setup? I've never seen a hole kit and the stuff I've seen is like $200

Small car master cylinder works choice, we have one on our offroader, ya just mate the outlet to the brakeline, block off one of the ports an fill up the res, for the caliper a motorbike hydraulic caliper works a treat.

cheap as :D

Hope it helps, good luck.

Cheers, Cam
