Hey everyone, new to the forum and I just picked up some frames that I’m not quite sure how to identify. The red one is in great shape. The blue one has been welded on and crashed. I believe it’s a Rupp but Im totally new to this. I’m a roll cage builder so I definitely plan to fix the bent one. Thanks

The blue one is definitely a Rupp Dart.
An original Rupp steering wheel in good shape is worth $75-100.
Turbine wheels with no broken fins and good chrome outers are $75-100....each.
If the seat is undamaged that's another $150+.
Not that you plan to part it out, just letting you know what you have.
What's bent on it?
Any parts you need or repair advice, call Robert Stanton (Robron Inc).
He worked at Rupp and bought all the kart stuff when Rupp got out of karts.
He does everything from nuts and bolts to complete karts, and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
He runs a working farm as well so if you don't get him first try, leave a message.

Thanks for the response, the frame actually seems fine it’s the steering arm that’s bent. I’m in the process of stripping it down and doing a quick clean up. I will post some more pictures.

You can get a complete front axle with spindlehangers and bumper from Robert.
His won't have the bend in the bumper like the original.
You could get it without the bumper, cut yours off and weld it on the new one.
The advantage to getting a new axle is you know the geometry will be right as long as you use an inclinometer (not expensive) to set the caster angle.

Thanks for the heads up. I figured it needs the whole tube replaced but I got it pretty close and welded up for now. Got a little excited so I also removed the motor and cut the non original bracket off. Going to clean it up next.

If you really want the Dart look, get the tab to weld to your rear cross tube from Robert and use a Rupp floating mount.

I'll do some looking.
That Palmini fuel tank on it is $200, minimum.
Post some more pics of it, side view from both sides.
Also a "looking down at an angle" of the front of the frame would help.
That rear bar looks familiar, can't place it yet.

Here’s a pic of my stretched side kick and the last roll cage I built. I stretch the kart 11 inches with interior 5 inch sleeves for strength.

Got the extra sprocket the P.O. added off but I’ve encountered an issue found out one of the rear wheels had a bad crack in it. Anyone have an extra turbine for sale?

Let me dig in the shed.
May be a day or two, cold as **** here the next day or so.
I may have a Turbine somewhere.
You just need the main part of the wheel or do you need the outer ring as well?
I may have a floating mount out there too.
