I guess not. Most members won't bother posting "I don't know what it is", we usually only comment when we have something constructive to add.

Also, you have to remember, most people are extremely busy at this time of year; it may take a week or so before you get any kind of hint.

In the meantime, have you tried searching the net. Also, go right over the frame looking for any markings at all...

i just restored an old carter brothers super wheel and it has many of the same features, live axle in a tube, adjustable seat and the side bars. same steering wheel mount too. if its a 4 3/4 inch drum brake and 3/4 inch axle that would be my best guess. only carter used the 4 3/4 drum i think. old carter brothers of some sort with a few mods i think.

Thank you, I couldnt pin what it is! Sounds the same. The funny thing is the front has this 1 bolt that holds entire steering assembly on. I never seen anything like it. That Helps just as ref.. Thank You!

I think it's a Carter, probably Super Wheels series. I just picked up an old Super Wheels frame, and I see some of the same features, including-

-The axle-in-a-tube
-The deep-dish steering wheel
-Frontend compenents
-Oddly square front axle beam in a round tube chassis
-Adjustable seat
-The throttle mechanism at driver's right hip

Differences

-My steering hoop isn't a hoop- it's a single upright
-I have a fixed front axle beam, not that tractor-esque pivoting front axle- However, I KNOW some Carters have those
-Different pedals
-I don't have that strange platform in the rear- maybe for a jackshaft or CVT assembly.

There are enough similarities to my Carter and others that I have seen. Do a Google image search, and I'm pretty sure you'll get close to IDing it. I have not nailed down my exact model number yet, but I'm close.

Thank You. I am Excited about getting started on it! I have already taken it all down and would like to get primed. So can start working some of the bad welds. Do you have any pics of yours? Thank you!

Not yet, I don't. I picked it up about a week ago, and with Christmas rapidly approaching, I was too busy to mess with it. I've got to re-do some bad/cracked welds, and I think I'm going to just cut off the front porch and fab up a new one. It's pretty beaten. I also have to punch out and replace the rear axle bearings.

It is a Carter Super Wheels. I have a two seater version and the single seat version like how Toystory has described with the steering mount. Your rear section looks to be a little badgered up. I am working on making a sprocket side hub for the two seater at the moment.

Toystory niether of mine have had a data plate/sticker on them except for the caution decal that was painted over on the front axle. From what I gathered searching on the internet for info on them they were made in the late 70's to early 80's. The single seater is a 1105 model I think and the two seater is a 2305. They started coining them as Talons later on. Here are some of the sites Ive rumaged through to find out about it.

And of course here is my build thread.

my friends super wheels had the single upright steering too. one bearing came apart trying to get it out so i welded a washer that fit good to the inside of the outer bearing race. a couple good whacks from the other side and it came out. i also used a piece of 3/4 inch steel conduit over the axle between the bearings so they weren't getting a side load when the axle nuts were tightened. good luck.
