Found Jeep 3 speed....need help finding axles!!!!

Hey guys i found a jeep 3 speed tranny that im gonna use for a kart, it will be more than enough and so will my twin but i have a problem. I need an axle out of some car, it MUST be small, like the rear diff out of a subaru or otherwise.. any tips?

A Subaru or other smaller AWD/RWD car would do.

i actually found that the trans is a ford 3 speed, the problem i have is weight, and i propably will dump the design because of it, REALLY cool to shift on the fly, but im not so certain my twin can pull it.

if its a 3 speed you want, get a honda 50 bottom end, rip the top end off pull out the push rod put a blocker plate on where the top end bolts up, pull the flywheel drill out 6 rivets and mount a sprocket on it, and a chain to you engine, you dont need a clutch since the 50 has one built in, and you will have a 3 speed tranny thats closer to 15 pounds then 90, not to mention setting up a kind of shift linkage for it would be a *****, i have pictures of the 50 tranny set up on my camera i can post tomorrow or something, its not 100% finished yet, and the tranny will hold up, i built a 140 stroked pitbike engine with one of these 3 speeds, and it works good clutch slipped a little though,

ive had that idea, and trust me id love to use this setup but the weight factor is to high, so im going to stick with my original plan, now im in the market for a cub cadet plate clutch. the list goes on
