Hey guys, so I was originally going to build a frame and all from scratch but a nice one popped up on craigslist and i couldn't resist it. 7ft long and about 46in wide, I'll put pictures up later tonight or tomorrow. Came with engine plate, rear brake, rear axel, steering wheel/mounts, seat/mounts, throttle/brake pedals and cables plus 4 hubs :wai: all for $150 and only needs 1 re-weld:biggrin5: going to power wash then sand blast it soon. Definitely going to keep you guys posted

Yea, going to look on craigslist for something, maybe 8-10hp or better depending on price and such. I found a set of 18x6.5 quad tires/rims for the rear, just need something for the front now. The brake is pretty much shot, all rusted and seized up, not sure if it can be salvaged :/

Well... money is the issue in this build, not a whole lot so we probably are going to find a way to salvage it  With the engine, whats a good price range for something to put on this kart? Looking for something beefy and straight up bad ***:D essentially raw power for speed/torque because it's ALWAYS muddy/rainy around where I am so you get stuck quite abit

That's a bit smaller than your kart; 6hp is gonna do nothing for you. Either keep it intact or pass on it.

IIWM, I'd be looking for something like a 420cc Predator for your kart, then get some wheels to suit, something in the realm of 18" for the rear & 13" - 15" for the front.

gixxerkart, whats up with all the images you are posting. You say nothing and just post images???? If you have something meaningful to say, please do. Just don't clog the thread up with posts like the one above. Do you go trawling google to find these things??

Ya I "troll" google for memes and insert them in places where words cannot convey my thoughts. Welcome to 2012.
Also I do insert words when I have words to use. I don't see what the big deal is? Instead of me typing "Yay great job!" I simply put in a picture (well worth a 1,000 words).
Also, do we pay by the pixel on this site? Last time I checked posting a pic on the net is free, if its the size your worried about it shouldn't be a big deal since most of the quote trains on this site are far larger.

Don't get your knickers in a twist! You may think that it being 2012 means that memes are the in thing, but there are quite a number of people on the forum who think that your memes are a waste of time and page loading time. We are trying to get people to use the thumbnail feature that the site offers FOR FREE. This is the way to go to keep a thread tidy as well as readable. Not everyone has fast internet speeds. If you are using a mobile phone, you cannot even load pages like this due to the size.

If you have a problem with it, please PM me again
