Formula 1 2026 Season

The 2026 F1 season has kicked off with an exciting opener in Australia and George Russell came out on top with a solid win. The race had some close battles, strategic pit stops and a few surprises that set the tone for what could be an unpredictable season.

It will be interesting to see how the teams adapt and whether Russell can keep this momentum. What were your takeaways from the race, and who do you think will be the main championship contenders this year?

Mercedes are showing strong form this season, taking another 1-2 finish in the Chinese GP and making themselves tough to beat. This time Kimi got the win and George got P2.

It seems no one is gonna stop Mercedes this season as they secured another pole this season after winning the sprint race earlier in the day in Canada.

Shipping the cars, crew and equipment across the world must cost a fortune!

It seems no one is going to stop Kimi from winning the championship this season, as he wins the Monaco GP to make it five wins in a row.

Other than drooling over F1 of past (Senna/Prost), the only exposure I have to it is watching that Lance Stroll fella. Its amazing how someone can F up so catostrophically, over and over. Not that Im rooting for his failure, Id like to see him do good lol. Its just a thing of awe.

Ive seen nothing of this year however.


Oh and Piquet is the coolest driver EVER.

Congratulations to Charles Leclerc for winning the British GP, his first race win this season.

Don't know if you know who Pato O'ward is. He has come in 2nd at the Indy 500 twice and today won his 1st event of the year. A very charismatic and popular driver on the Indy car circuit. Hard not to be in awe of the formula 1 machines, but the lack of passing and wheel to wheel racing makes for a boring TV broadcast. Not trying to rain on anybody's parade, just my opinion. NHRA and Indy car. Merican racing.
