Fork Issue

The original owner says that the right fork will sometimes come all the way out leading to an unpleasant situation. What causes this issue and how do i fix it? I haven't had time yet to check it out myself.

Check for loose or worn/ missing fasteners or broken welds.

I can't recall to save my life how springs attach to fork tubes, so if I believe the past owner and the minibike was mine................
I'd pull up on the handlebars and stomp down on the tire, force it to fall out. Then I could see with my own eyes what's wrong with it and fix it accordingly.
