The mustang cleaned up real nice once I got it home, and
it was extremely fast.
Only one problem. My girlfriend!
I made the mistake of teaching her how to drive a fast five speed!
YUP!
I could NOT get her out of MY mustang....
Everywhere we went...she wanted to drive...
I could not go anywhere without her asking me to drive...
So.....
Me being me, a bit of a stingy bastard I decided I wanted something all my own, and something for me.
I sold the Mustang...
for 6K.. same thing I gave for him..

So this car was very rare at less than 5% ever built:ack2:
The car restored would bring 55k+ easily.

Problem was, the guy I bought it from NEVER produced the title.
I was lied to after he told me he had a clear title, and handed him the cash which I knew better. Long of the short, I had a title company go to work on the title to get me a clear title.
Problem is the title work was $700 at the time and I simply did not want to do it. Folks came by and seen the car sittin in the driveway in that condition and I got pressure on them to sale it as it was an "eyesore" and the neighbors would complain.
And they did. So it was back to the same problem I had with the camaro body in the driveway. No garage and no place to keep the "eyesore" while doing work on it.
So I gave up and let them win again.
Sold the car without a title for 2k.
I took a butt eating on that one. That won't happen ever again.
Couple of photos after I cleaned up the inside.

Sold the TA.
My grandmother passed down to my mom a 1985 Z28 Convertible. They have had it since 1986 when it was new. They bought it off the original owner from Kruse International. We are second owners.
It is pretty much my car now, but it stays at my moms as she has a garage and can keep it inside. Here is the camaro sitting at my house after I cleaned it up a bit.
This car won't ever be sold. I will pass it down to my kids one day.
Drove this car about a year and then let it go back to my moms to get it back out of the elements.

From the camaro, I bought a 1999 Silverado Pickup from my daughter. I got the itch for a old VW bug.
Found VW bug, and traded dead even for the pickup truck.
This is "Beetle Juice"

These pictures posted are not all the cars I have ever owned, but more than most.
I have had several bikes in between and during.
Now, This passed summer in the Texas heat I decided I was not 20 yrs old anymore. Texas summers now are as hot as they were when I was 20 years old!
I am 47. I cannot NOT have AC any longer or HEAT.
The VW's are air cooled and you cant run AC due to lack of cooling and HP. Its a no brainer. My Bug you froze your butt off in the winter too. No heater. The plans for the bug were to make a stroker VW 2700 CC and smoke em up!
It would have happened hadent I not have bailed on the idea. Bug was sold a while back.
Now you may be asking what my car is.
The true answer is I do not own a car anymore, not any car for that matter.
I share my gf's red 1988 toyota that you see in some of the photos.
But this story will have a happy ending.
:idea2:
At the last QTR of this year, or The first qtr of next year
