Alright you’ll I ride mini bikes but I’ve came to this group to get some insight from the kart guys . I did a governor delete on my 212 I plan on upgrading my rod to Arc and springs carb & header. It’s going to be a budget build & don’t wanna spend 120 on arc flywheel. What are my other options as far as flywheels? Has anyone used Amazon cast ones? Also might be throwing in a mild can mainly do street riding but hit trails from time to time.
what cast aluminum flywheel would you’ll recommend along with cam?

There’s a speed rated lower cost cast flywheel that comes off the Tillotson or Ducar, forget which. And there’s other options…

Edwin was supposed to have bought one.

We ride minibikes too, don’t tell anyone! 🤫

My thoughts...

Those are good thoughts and they are taken to the logical conclusion, plus are devoid of fantasy and hyperbole.
I personally am not interesting in 10K rpm (as if that were the de facto goal of everyone here). Just want a little higher-than-stock/governed-RPM and to get into the above-30-35mph realm.

Cam and stiff springs seem to be the major cork remover, NOT the "Stage X Kit". We need to drum this into the masses.

That’s actually the one I just ordered. Did you have to use a different key for it ?

Double check that.
I believe the arc wheel comes with built in advance. If they copied it and don't disclose and you add a timing key you might get some crazy advance.

If it has 8 degrees advance built in then you want to use the stock straight up key. That is no where near as good as the ARC, but is still a lot better than the stock one. Torque it to 65 lb. ft.

Full review. What's your first impressions?
Does it fit the shaft taper?
Does it look and feel like quality?
Did it exceed your expectations?

I see no stress cracks as I see everyone mentioning. It sits exactly in the same spot the stock flywheel sits. As far as quality it feels and looks good to me. And as far as expectations can’t answer that as I’m still waiting on parts to finish building.adding onto that why is it that everyone I talk to that’s a “reputable” source says the taper on it won’t fit 212 non hemi? Kinda lost there or am I missing something
