Yup. Arm netting sounds like the next thing. I had not thought about that. Wife said to sell it, I told her she was a part pooper.

Looks like I'm out of work for 4-6 weeks.

Any guesses as to what a fair price for this thing would be?

Not sure, but I wouldn't sell it. My wife knows better than to tell me something like that. I'm liable to go out and buy another, just to prove a point...... She does not get between me and my toys. And let's me buy them, as long as it don't put us in a bind $$ wise...... That's why I got 8 and building more....
When I see a stupid cheap kart for sale, she only asks how long I'm gonna play with it before I sell it. That's it......
I love my wife..... Happy wife, happy life......:cheers2:

Nah, I have tons of toys. I may try and trade it for a 4wheeler, or dirtbike.

In the mean time I plan on putting nets, fixing the brakes, and replacing a front tire. I have 6 weeks before I hop back on.

Arms doing better. Took the cast off, but muscles are sore from not being able to flex for so long.

My brother came over and we pulled out the gokart, he took off and then the chain started making a weird noise. Took a look at the jackshaft, and the sprocket is really worn. The 10 tooth sprocket is messed up, but welded to the shaft, along with the 26 tooth sprocket. So I need to find a 3/4 shaft with a 26 tooth sprocket, and 10 tooth sprocket on it.

I couldn't really find anything like it, found the part number from murray, 1201276, but it appears to be discontinued. I found replacement shaft kits, but they only contain a 10, and 14 teeth sprockets, and not the 26 tooth I need.....

Another option I have is to cut and grind off the existing 10 tooth, and replace, and weld a new 10 tooth sprocket...

Any ideas, or opinions? I'll post a picture to show what I am working with...

Umm, yeah, that's FUBAR...

IIRC, sprockets can be found at tractor supply, that may need to be verified by someone a little closer...

Good to hear the arm is better, you'll need a few weeks of physiotherapy before it's fully functional...
