Hey so I picked up a snowmobile motor with all the fixing, motor Electronics the handlebars with all the buttons the headlight oil mix box radiator the whole nine yards except for the sled I want to use my shifter cart frame Mountain motor on it and just burn up some tires I basically don't know where to start I mean I don't even know if the engine runs what would be a good starting point I have the motor mounts so I'm assuming bolts it down to something clean the carbs and start pulling the Rope if it doesn't start what should I look for as far as safeties that allow the motor to run

A snowmobile engine. We don't get much snow down here in the desert, so I have no idea. But like any engine, it needs fuel, air, and a timed spark with compression.
How much do you know about engines? Can you weld? Fabricate parts? I ask because i don't think you can buy an adapt-a-kit.
Do you know what sled that engine came out of? That would be a good start for finding a wiring schematic.

I did not know there is a mixing box for headlight oil. I did not know they used oil for the headlights.

Well yeah! The problem is snowmobile headlights use 0W -20 headlight oil. Thats cuz of snow is cold, if yer running it in temperatures above freezing, ya need the high temperature headlight oil mixing box and 20S+50 headlight oil! It just won't work otherwise!

Don't headlights burn kerosene? You must be talking about them new fangled
electric things. But I never knew they had radiators.

I thought kerosene or acetylene. When I worked for Buick I would always add blinker fluid to cars at oil change time.
