First time starting 212 predator

I finally started up my engine for the first time today. It started right up idles great but when I hold throttle open about half way it starts to pop. I'm sure it's a jetting problem but not sure which way to go. Engine mods are filter, .625 bored Honda carb, governor removed, exhaust, and changed over to fuel pump instead of gravity feed. Any hep on where to start would be much appreciated. Tuning is not something I have much experience in.

My guess would be its running rich on the high speed jet causing it load up on fuel and pop. I would lean out the highspeed jet

What colour is the spark plug... at the engine end...

Apparently it helps sometimes to run a return line from the fuel pump to the tank to prevent to much fuel at the bowl, float and needle. Worked for me.
