First time getting a bike?

Hey guys, long time no see..well, most of you probably don't remember me lol. Anyways, I know this forum is full of cool dudes, so, I want to get a bike. I am particularly in love with cafe racers and streetfighter style bikes. What would you guys suggest? nothing to extreme, I just want something to get around in this small town I live, good mileage, and just have fun!

i would look around on your craigslist. see whats there and what prices theyre at.

if you want good mpg then get a 4-stroke. if you want power and speed get a 2-stroke.
