First time bike builder

Hey guys and gals (i dont discriminate sexually). Came to this site looking for help/ ideas on building my own mini bike. Im 6' 3" so its not going to be super mini. Ive been reading over alot of information and it kinda seems confusing. So far ive decided that a custom frame would be the best option, but im lost when it comes to actually getting parts, like forks, axles, clutches, and pulleys. I do have my own engine, its a 1983 3hp briggs and stratton. Mainly if i figure out where i can get parts and make sure that they will fit/work as i intend them too i believe ill do fine. i figured i would weld a bike frame together out of some angle iron or pipe of some sort. Mainly wanting to keep it a simple frame, even thought about using parts from an old bicycle. Not sure even what gear ratio i should look into or what centrifugal clutch i should use. Thats where im hoping you all come in.

Welcome to the forum. I made a minibike with the same engine that you have there. Have a look at my build thread. I am sure you will get lots of good help from it.
