i've already got a spring to return the pedals to the original spot. and what's a con rod?

connecting rod. It connects the piston to the crankshaft. With the speeds some engines can run at when modded, theres a danger of it breaking, which would basically total the engine. I dont know much about flatheads, but most people replace a clone's rod when modding

i got a clone for it, and not yet on the rod, i don't expect to get it up to a high rpm
